Understanding The Colors On Your Beacon

I Want To Understand Why The Beacon Is Blinking Or Showing Red, Blue, Violet, Green Or White LED Colors.

Red Blinking

When your device is blinking red, this means you are in Alert Mode. To turn off the Alert Mode is going into the Silent Beacon Safety App and click the Red Alert button in the main menu. (picture here). You will be prompted to enter the 4 digit code you created when you first opened the app. (picture here).

The device is blinking Red but App is not in Alert mode. (picture here with Alert in Red and Device image glowing red) Hold both Alert Buttons on the Beacon for 20 seconds (the color will turn solid blue) then release. The device will now stop blinking Red. Now try to reconnect to the Safety App. To avoid this in the future do not turn off your Bluetooth® while in Alert Mode. If your Beacon will not reconnect after 1 minute you may follow the reset feature here. (link here to reset instructions).

If you do not have access to your phone or the Safety App you can reset the Beacon by holding both buttons for 30 seconds (until the Beacon blinks white). Warning you will have to reset your device. (link to reset instructions)

Red Solid

When the Silent Beacon is showing a solid Red color this means your Beacon is placing a phone call. Use the Beacon to communicate with the person you have called. If you can not hear that person switch the call from your Beacon to the Phone you are using.

Blue Blinking

When your device is blinking red, this means you are in Alert Mode. To tun off the Alert Mode is going into the Silent Beacon Safety App and click the Red Alert button in the main menu. (picture here). You will be prompted to enter the 4 digit code you created when you first opened the app. (picture here).

Blue Solid

A solid blue color will only happen when you hold both Alert Buttons for 20 to 25 seconds, this is the period of resetting the Alert Mode if needed. After 25 seconds it blink blue until exactly 30 seconds, then it will blink white which means you can let go to reset the Beacon.

Green Pulsing

If you see the Beacon cycle through all the colors and then vibrate, it is either because your battery died and you have reconnected it to a power source or you have held both buttons for 30 seconds which makes the Beacon reset all factory settings. To check, simply open the Safety App and try to reconnect the Beacon to it. If the Beacon continuously cycles through all colors more than two times, there is a glitch in the matrix. If you have the time, please wait till the battery fully dies and try again, or if faster service is required contact customer support here. If it is a real emergency dial 911 or your local authorities.

Green Solid

This lets you know charging has been completed. Your Safety App should show the Beacon charged as well on the main menu screen.

Violet Pulsing

The violet color pulses when you are in the finishing stages of our Firmware Upgrade. This color ensures that FW file transfer is complete between the phone and the Beacon, however, it is recommended to not shut the app or touch the phone during this time as it is now storing the new file on your Beacon!

Violet Solid

This means there is an issue with the Beacon. Please try resetting it by holding both buttons for 30 seconds. If this does not work please contact us here.

A solid Violet color means something is bugging out with your Beacon. First try restarting it by holding both buttons for 30 seconds, if this does not work, contact us here.

Multiple Colors Then Vibration
